P.N.C. & K.R. Degree College, names after Sri Paladugu Nagaiah Chowdary, a Philanthropist and Sri Kotha Raghuramaiah, an astute Parlamentarian was started at Narasaraopet in 1991 under the able patronage of Doctor couple Dr.Medarametla Sivalinga prasada Rao and Dr.M.Annapurna. The college is promoted by the Sri Venkateswara Paladugu Nagaiah Chowdary and Kotha Raghuramaiah Educational Society (Regd.) and with in a short span of decade have reached a level of educational standards comparable to any of the similar colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The PNC&KR Degree College has a modern well planned campus located about 2 K.M. from the Narasraopet Railway Station. The campus is spread over about 7.3 acres with imposing buildings in lush green, polution free environment away from the hustle and bustle of town life.

1. To provide ample scope to the student community of backward palnadu area for developing a well balanced and an all round personality through curricular and extra-curricular activities.

2. To create an awareness of work ethics, work habits and to motivate the student community for creative interaction with society.

3. To inculcate desirable value systems and establish positive attitudes and behaviour among the student community.

4. To print and publish journals and magazines with creative articles contributing to the growth of innovative knowledge, human understanding and work culture of the student community.

5. To organise the seminars, workshops, conferences, guest lectures to promote and develop the five academic skills of student community – reading, writing, speaking, thinking and understanding.

The college is to inculcate human values and ethical standards among the student community through well-designed action plan. The management and faculty of the college have been striving hard to set an example to the student community by not merely preaching academic ethics, morals, virtues and capabilities but also practicing them with a sense of commitment and dedication inspired. An ultimate manifesto of the college is to mould the students has responsible citizens as well as responsive policy makers of the Nation.
